Yes, you retain full ownership of all the content you post on our platform. We only request the rights we need to display and distribute your content within the platform to provide our services. GROUNDZERO can use your content for any purpose as long as it is not for making money (no commercial gain).Our terms and conditions state: “Member grants GROUNDZERO a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable royalty free, perpetual worldwide licence to host, use and distribute, modify, display and translate works of your Content for any purpose but not for commercial gain in connection with GROUNDZERO Services in all forms of media.”This means:Worldwide: The rights apply globally.Non-exclusive: You can grant these rights to others as well, not just GROUNDZERO.Transferable: GROUNDZERO can transfer these rights to another party.Sub-licensable: GROUNDZERO can grant these rights to others (third parties).Royalty-free: You won't receive any payment (royalties) for the use of your content.Perpetual: The rights last indefinitely.Host: Store and serve your content on their servers.Use: Utilise your content for their purposes.Distribute: Share your content with others.Modify: Change or alter your content.Display: Show your content to the public.Translate: Convert your content into different languages.We take your privacy and data seriously and implement robust security measures to protect your personal information. Yes, our platform is designed to ensure you see updates from the people within your network. We prioritise content from your network to keep you engaged with the latest updates from your connections while still allowing you to discover new creatives. You can always search for creatives in your area, skill, niche or value to find new connections.
Right now our platform is purely social, we have no paid ads, no sponsorship. Our network is free to use. If you get paid by a client on the platform we take a commission of 10%. We also make money through partnerships, workshops, community events and any way we can monetise to pay the bills and keep the platform running for free.

As we are new we need to make sure our application process includes a review to ensure we grow as an effective community. If you haven’t been accepted yet, it may be due to a high volume of applications. Our application process is competitive and we have to maintain a delicate balance of the different skill sets, niches and genres of creatives on the platform. Just because you weren't accepted this round, doesn't mean we will not welcome you back in the near future as we grow.
Yes, we have community guidelines to ensure a positive and respectful environment for all users. It's okay to use creativity to shine light on social issues and we understand that creative content is sometimes explicit, and that certain creatives utilise hateful speech and derogatory language in a manner that is hypothetical - this is storytelling. It's not okay to make other people feel unsafe on the platform. Please review our Terms and conditions 2.9 below: “You must not post content that is hateful, threatening, discriminatory, defamatory or is otherwise inappropriate.”Hateful: Actions or speech expressing intense dislike or hostility towards an individual or group, often examined under hate speech laws.Threatening: Conveying an intention to cause harm or loss, credible and specific enough to induce fear of imminent harm.Discriminatory: Unjust or prejudicial treatment based on characteristics like race, gender, age, or religion, violating civil rights laws.Defamatory: False statements that damage someone's reputation, classified as libel (written) or slander (spoken).Inappropriate: Unsuitable or improper behaviour given the context, often violating professional codes or community standards.Our moderators will be using the platform actively to maintain a safe community that allows for creative expression.
